Chinese Medicine and Fertility

The main aim of Chinese Medicine is to create balance and harmony in the body and the health of the male and female at the time of conception determines the health of the child.

“Qi” pronouced “chi” means the flow of enery in your body and one person’s Qi can be very different from another’s.

The quality of your Qi comes from a combination of two things;

1. what you inherited from your parents and

2. the vitality you have acquired in life.

The Qi that you have acquired in life is what we are going to concentrate on because this is the bit you can really change for the better. The chinese believe that you cannot replenish what you have inherited but you can preserve it in life.

So how can you cultivate good Qi in life? You can do this through the food you eat, the exercise you take, in the way you moderate your life, how you manage stress and how you balance your emotions.

You can even do this through the people you choose to surround yourself with. Believe it or not some people can sap your energy and deplete your Qi. Conversely some people can have “great energy”

So our aim here is to cultivate your Qi and to get it in balance so that there are no obstacles in your path to conceiving.
