Trying To Get Pregnant – How Traditional Chinese Medicine Can Come To The Rescue
“I have been trying to get pregnant for some time now, but nothing I do seem to be working. What could I possibly be doing wrong?” I cannot count the number of times I have seen a woman ask that question. Some have been trying for a short period of time while others have been trying for years.
The case is made a little more frustrating when it is termed “unexplained fertility” This simply means that medical science is unable to provide an answer as to why the couple have not conceived naturally as there is nothing physically wrong with either the man or the woman.
Well the truth is that something is definitely wrong. It has to be the case otherwise they should be conceiving naturally.
If doctors and medical practitioners are unable to tell you what is wrong with either you or your partner then you have two choices:
1. accept what medical science is telling you and hope that one day it will happen or
2. take you life in your own hands and seek alternative help.
Trying to get pregnant – Why You should Try Alternative Therapy
TCM is based on the idea that the human body is part of a much greater system of energy and life. Eastern treatment views the health of the reproductive system as part of the overall health of the body and therefore, treating the body as a whole is the only way to restore reproductive health back to balance.
TCM treatments include acupuncture, acupressure, herbal formulas, dietary and massage therapy which can help restore balance and health to every aspect of your body.
They also can be used to redirect your body’s attention and energy back to the reproductive system so that you may do what you were meant to: bring forth life.
Now is the time to stop trying to get pregnant and actually get pregnant.
You can learn how to use acupressure on yourself on a daily basis to clear blockages within your body and get energy back into your reproductive organs so that you can conceive healthy happy babies.

Getting Pregnant After Miscarriage – What You Need To Do To Avoid Losing Your Next Pregnancy
Getting Pregnant After A Miscarriage is not a difficult task at all.
In fact nothing should stop you from trying right away if you are emotionally up for it. I would strongly encourage you to do so because it would take your mind off the babay you have just lost.
Unfortunately, it is a sad reality of life but miscarriages occur at a surprising high rate of about 1 in every 3 pregnancies.
It is okay to feel emotional about it!
When I lost my second pregnancy – All sorts of things kept going through my head.
Somehow I felt I could have prevented it one way or another. I even blamed myself at some point but I realised I needed to move forward and I needed to do it quickly. I needed to have something to take my mind off things and the way out for me was another pregnancy.
The truth is that your miscarriage was beyond you. Nothing you could have done would have stopped it from happening and you have to stop blaming yourself and look forward to the next one.
You need to accept that this pregnancy was simply not meant to be and look forward to the next one.
I know it can be hard to let go, especially if the miscarriage happened in the second trimester, mourn if you have to but move on.
Miscarriages happen for a number of reasons and they are:
1. Chromosomal damage
2. Immune System and antibodies
3. Medical Disorders
4. Uterine Abnormalities
5. Hormonal Problems
6. Infection
It would be impossible to explain it all depth in one post but we can talk about the most common reason for miscarriages and that is chromosomal damage. This tends to occur more in the first trimester and is where the fetus is not developing like it should and your body in its infinite wisdom knows to get rid of it.
Fortunately, miscarriages that occur due to chromosomal damage tend not to be a recurring one.

How Long Does It Take To Get Pregnant?
How long does it take to get pregnant – That is a million dollar question.
Unfortunately, there is no concrete answer but many factors contribute to how quickly a woman is able to conceive.
Some couples never have issues with conceiving yet others have to plan before it happens.
Statistically,
• The average time it takes for a pregnancy to occur is between 4 and 6 months
• 80% of couples will conceive within 18 months of trying for a baby and
• 90% of couples after trying for 2 years.
This shows that 0nly about 10% of couples actively trying for a pregnancy will need to medical intervention of some sort.
It is perfectly normal to take up to year to conceive and unless is a specific medical issue your doctor is unlikely to recommend further medical investigations before that time.
How Long Does It take to Get Pregnant – 2 Determining Factors
The truth is there is no real way of knowing how long it will take you to conceive but ther are a number of factors that will determine how quickly you conceive.
We will be looking at those factors shortly but it is advisable that you get a health check before you start trying for that baby just to ensure that all is well.
1. Age – Is the single most important cuase of fertility problems in women. Whereas a healthy male remains fertile for most of his life, a woman is at the height of her fertile year from mid to late 20’s.
From the age of 30 the quality of a woman’s egg begins to decline and from 40 the onwards the uterus loses its integrity making it difficult to maintain a pregnancy.
You can improve your chances of conceieving a healthy pregnancy by taking a good quality prenatal supplement with the required amounts if folic acid.
2. Lifestyle – Eating a healthy diet, exercising, avoiding alcohol, caffeine, highly processed foods, and smoking (both you and your partner) will ensure that you are in the best physical health to conceive.
• We have addressed with 2 out of the 5 factors that affects how long it takes to get pregnant. We will be looking at the remaining 3 factors in my next post so book mark this site and be sure to come back to read the remaining 3 factors that impair fertility.
How To Get Pregnant Fast – 3 Simple Steps To Help You Concieve Quickly.
How To Get Pregnant Fast – Perhaps this is something you have been pondering upon for some time now.
The truth is you may or may not be doing something anything wrong. Be rest assured that so many factors contribute to how easily you get pregnant and my goal here is to share some of what I know will definitely increase your chances of getting pregnant.
Perhaps the most important step you need to take is to know your fertile window. What exactly is your fertile window? This is that time of the month when you have the highest chance of conceiving if you have intercourse with you partner.
Over a period of a few months, usually about 3 months you need to keep a record of your menstrual cycle and know on which day you are likely to ovulate.
The purpose of this is to know when your ovary is likely to release an egg, which then needs to be fertilised within 24 hours.
Once you know your ovulation days and time intercourse from at least 3 days before and maybe two days after, I can assure you, you have increased your chances of conceiving by as much as 50%
There are several methods you can use to know the precise day in which you likely to ovulate: the Cervical Mucus Method (CM), The Basal Body Temperature (BBT), and the use of ovulation kits.
1. I would recommend using a good ovulation kit Clear Blue Fertility kits remains the number one choice. They are one of the best and have been shown to be to 99.9% accurate.
2. You need to keep your partners sperm supply fresh and active: The general conception is that you need to “save” up the sperm for your fertile window. Yes the sperm may be plentiful them but the truth is that they will be weak and sluggish.
You need to have regular intercourse with your partner at least every four days. This will endure that when during the month when you are most fertile; his sperm is fresh, active, and able to do the job.
3. Avoid any form of lubrication. Research has shown that store bought lubricants like Vaseline and KY Jelly actually damage the sperm and weaken them and that is definitely not something you want to be doing in any instance.
